Former Training

Marco forged his foundational artistry in gymnastics. His initial training in gymnastics gifted him with a core of exceptional strength, precision, and coordination, which became indispensable to his work in ballet under the guidance of Irina Pana: a professional Romanian ballerina. Irina’s profound mentorship not only refined his technical understanding but also instilled the enduring passion that continues to drive his career today. At the age of 11, Marco made a significant move to the Elmhurst Ballet School, in association with the Birmingham Royal Ballet, where he completed his training until 2011. He then progressed to the English National Ballet School, graduating in 2015.
